At ANGALIA, every detail of our accommodation has been crafted to offer comfort while immersing you fully in the beauty of the African wilderness. Our charming bungalows blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, featuring traditional makuti roofs and Tanga stone — materials rooted in Tanzanian heritage. Each unit includes a private en-suite bathroom and thoughtful amenities to ensure a serene and authentic stay.

At ANGALIA, our bar and restaurant — Barazani — is the perfect place to unwind with your favorite drink, whether you choose to relax at the bar or enjoy the atmosphere around the campfire. Our menu highlights the flavors of Tanzania with authentic Swahili dishes such as pilau and wali wa nazi, while also offering refined Mediterranean options. Every meal is prepared with fresh ingredients sourced from local community farming projects.

In Swahili culture, the barazani is the traditional gathering place — where elders meet, important decisions are made, and families welcome guests. At ANGALIA, Barazani embodies that same spirit of connection, storytelling, and hospitality.

At ANGALIA, the wilderness is not just around you — it surrounds every moment of your stay. Our camp has no fences, allowing you to experience an authentic connection with nature in complete safety and tranquility. From your private banda, you may spot wildlife passing through the endless forest that embraces the property, whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or a cold beer at sunset. Angalia is also a haven for birdlife, with more than thirty species regularly visiting the camp to drink and feed in the natural clearings around us. The forest shelters rare and endemic plant species as well, including two young baobabs in their early stages of life — a quiet reminder of the timeless beauty of this land.
